#WantItWednesday (04/06/14)

How can anyone not love this quintessential British jewellery brand, Alex Monroe
A mainstay on the British jewellery scene, Monroe is often on the necks, wrists and lips of the fashion's retail elite and with good reason.

It's SUPER cute, incredibly intricate and I want it all.

What I love most about Alex Monroe's ever evolving collections are that they are crazily intricate and wonderfully British, having been made in the very same studio he acquired more than 20 years ago.

Just remember, these are on tiny pendants!!
The detail is insane.

Pendants that are wonderfully petite and delicate. I'm not one for delicacy (as I've already mentioned) but these can be layered, layered and layered again; allowing you to can spell out your quintessential British personality around your neck, without feeling or looking like
Mr. T.

Go on, treat yourself to a Pea Pod Pendant, a Bunch of Keys or even a Bundle of Asparagus! (Maybe, all three)

#WantItWednesday (13/11/13)

Sophie Hulme

It is getting closer to the party season and I am already planning my outfit list for the plethora of Christmas parties I will be throwing and attending. For this weeks' #WantItWednesday I am focusing on one of my favourite loves. Handbags.

The go to designer for modern luxury is Sophie Hulme, famed for her 'Armour Collection' my bag of the week is the beautiful and perfect for the party season. The 'Arrow Leather Clutch' has the signature hardware of which Hulme is famed with beautiful, butter-soft black leather. It also has a secret shoulder strap for when you are ready to party hard!

The bag is not only beautiful but incredibly versatile. It can add an edge to a flirty, floral look or be endlessly chic with an all black ensemble. this will definitely be my go to option for every festive sartorial crisis. Please excuse the hyperbole but it would certainly solve all of life's problems!

#WantItWednesday (06/11/13)

It's getting colder outside and I for one am not happy about it! For this week's #WantItWednesday I am embracing layering in all of its glory. Gloves. Scarves and big, warm coats!

Product Image
These practical and elegant gloves are beautiful and classically cut, pick a pair in a brighter shade to highlight any winter outerwear combination. These make you feel like you are in 'Bringing Up Baby' and you'll find it will want to spend more time outside!

To complete the Hepburn-esque look, I tend to pair these beauties with an over-sized crombie, in either camel or navy, with a thick scarf or pashmina; with a pair of sturdy loafers or a pair of brogues. Complete winter perfection!

The best thing about these gloves are they don't break the bank! These beauties are from M&S and are only £17.50, every reason to buy them as all four colours they have available. Get them while you can!

#WantItWednesday (30/10/13)

For this weeks #WantItWedneday I am getting into the spirit of Hallowe'en, even if I have less than 24 hours before the fated eve of insolent children demanding sweets on my doorstep!
As I am not one for the excessive glitter and the desperate need to wear 'sexy' versions civilian garb for Hallowe'en, so I have opted for the most popular accessory designer of the moment, Charlotte Olympia and her exquisite Hallowe'en collection.

This beautiful collection is hand finished, Olympia's collection is wonderfully quirky and beautiful, often crafted with interesting and unusual fabrics, inspired by the beautiful silhouettes of the 1940s.

I want it to be Hallowe'en everyday of the year if it means I can wear these beauties!

#WantItWednesday (23/10/2013)

For my first #WantItWednesday I am am talking about one life's greatest pastimes,
Tea.
A wonderful British tradition which is receiving a deserved resurgence. 'Taking Tea' is the English pastime, one which I try to observe at least 50 times a day! Whether grabbing a quick cup in the morning or splashing out with finger sandwiches and cream cakes in the late afternoon, I am a firm believer that if tea is involved in any way it should be drunk in style, with your pinky presented! You can find no better presentation than the beautiful specimen I am lusting after below.
Blue Calico Teacup Only 187ml/1/3pt

The Beautiful & British Staffordshire ceramicists at Burleigh create tea accessories begging to be mixed and matched. Established in 1851 this traditional Staffordshire Pottery hand finishes all of their ceramics using the difficult (and hypnotic to watch) tissue printing method.

Burleigh Pottery  Blue Calico Tea Cup & Saucer £12.50

I want every pattern and colour-way in my home, in my office and at every tea party I attend... if anyone is out there you know exactly what I want on a Wednesday!
