#WantItWednesday 14/10/15

So I missed a week, I've been busy drawing up and sending a lists to everyone in time for my birthday, which is (shock horror) tomorrow. *sad face*

From & Other Stories
So at the top of my list to commiserate another year older with this beauty from & Other Stories. With the weather drawing in this is the perfect item to sink into stylishly.

I love the lapels on this too, perfect to pop in the driving wind and fill with a thick, extra warm scarf, like this one

The colour is great too. It makes you feel like the winter is a distant memory with its pastel hue.  This works well with all of my favourites shades of uniformity (Navy, Grey, Beige)

Have a look at my ways to wear below:

All looks can be found here

Go on... you've 24 hours until my birthday and the weather is looking pretty crappy. Who wants to get me a present (or five?!)

Until Next Week!

#WantItWednesday (30/09/15)

So I am in search of a new diary; As a firm pretend grown up I am a believer that diary's are really important. Writing your plans on something other than a post it or the back of your hand does, surprisingly help you to keep track of things.

Panama Diary, Smythson

As it is with you for a whole year you may as well spend some money on it. The Panama Diary from Smythson is the perfect fit. It's small enough to in a pocket, or slip effortlessly into a handbag, or clutch without you being aware that you are carrying a diary around with you all the time.

I am a particular fan of this colour too. It's fun and bright, it's a grown up piece of handbag furniture that doesn't have to make you feel old.

I have already mentioned that I am a HUGE fan of all things stationery, and this goregeous little beauty is no exception.
It'll make you want to plan things, just so you can show this beauty off!

Until Next Week!

#WantItWednesday (23/09/25)

From Topshop

Autumn has well and truly arrived and I am now looking for something that will help me transition into the bleak cold months. I have found a perfect pair of boots from Topshop that fit the bill perfectly.

This work well with bare legs and the inevitable thick, opaque tights that will happen in the bleak dark nights to come

Now, I would pair these with a pair of skinny jeans, an oversized shirt and a giant, comfy jumper. Sheer Autumn Perfection!

Because the heel is super chunky, these are really comfortable as a casual everyday shoe. Go on... you know you want a pair!

Until Next Week!

#WantItWednesday (16/09/15)

So those of you of a certain age will remember the glory of 'The Hills' and were (as I was) suitably obsessed with the exploits of Lauren et al and their glamorously scripted lives.
One of (IMHO) the stand-out characters was an intern, with a fantastic nickname, 'Super Emily'. She was admired and disliked in equal measures and was one my favourite people when she cropped up in a few episodes.

#WantItWednesday (09/09/15)

So I have missed a week; blame it on a home improvement gone awry. However I am back with a vengeance and wonderful new dining table in my flat to eat on. Once I had managed to put the table up I was once again back on the high street looking for my next sartorial fix.

From Monki
And I found it this week with the hidden gem that is Monki
I was always a bit weary of this chain; it always looks really painfully young and cool. The kind of cool you'd want to clip around the ear.

I had come across a few bits during my hourly trawl through ASOS. Some of their best pieces (more than a couple are now proudly sat on my clothing rail of merit) like this shirt dress and these culottes.

Next on my list of things to buy is this perfect oversized sweater dress from their AW15 arrivals. This is huge, soft and perfect in many and any occasion.

I would wear it with a crisp, white shirt and one of my many hundreds of white trainers or plimsolls. (these would look best with that look)

In fact... I like the idea of this look so much that I am clicking 'add to basket' as I speak, with about 100 other bits! oops.

Until next week!

#WantItWednesday (26/08/15)

Well... Summer is OVER I am DEVASTATED.
So I am looking forward to wrapping up and doing the only thing I can during the chilly, wet and miserable weather. Layering up with style.

I have been on a hunt. I have been looking for shirts, tops, skirts and trousers that lend themselves to be worn under or on top of hundreds of different warming others.

The chicest way to layer, in my opinion is to layer, using variants of the same colour.

I have always said I wear a 'uniform' and that uniform consists of five colours, beige, white, black & navy. It also helps that these beautiful colours lend themselves quite well to a layered wardrobe.

I have found the perfect item to begin your layering for the season and can you believe it? It's under £20!
From New Look
This absolute steal from New Look(link) is amazing, easy to wear and the perfect base to start adding layers to. It even comes in my uniform of shades. (So I'll have two in every colour please!)

I would pair this with a pair of cigarette trousers (these would go excellently), a pair of plimsolls or über fashionable trainers du jour and a button down (done up all the way) for an easy casual look for work. You could even go nuts; with a button down tunic or shirts dress underneath it too. Pair or with a huge scarf like an old favourite (sadly discontinued) on an extra blustery day, (like today) or a super cute, super yellow raincoat

Look at the ways to wear below:

See not the sun has gone out. I'm really depressed; so layers and comfort are the only things that could save me; that and spending countless hours shopping.

Until Next Week!

#WantItWednesday (19/08/15)

Via Cos

So Summer is more or less over (sob) so I have been searching high and low for transition pieces that can take me through to the bleak winter.

I have been looking for something in one of my favourite colours, Navy and I have found this beauty and a half from one of my favourite shops, Cos.

This glorious shirt is the sartorial mullet of tops; business in the front...Party at the back.

This is perfect for a work outfit or relaxing in a pair of baggy boyfriend jeans.
