You all know I am not a fan of the cold. I hate it and makes me want to spend as much time in the warm (AKA pub) as possible. So these boots from Church's are the perfect sartorial antidote to the cold.
These boots are not only beautiful; they are wonderfully practical. I am a big fan of a two-toned riding boot and these are the original and only pair worth having (IMHO); no exception.
When it comes to boots (or androgynous flats, to be honest) you should look no further than Church's. A true British staple, each shoe is lovingly hand-crafted with hundreds of years history behind it.
I would pair these with a single colour; my preference, all black everything. These are an excellent weapon for bracing your feet against the biting cold, along with a massive scarf and a woolly hat. If you are feeling really brave, or really flush (lucky you in January) one of these (oh I really, really want one!) It gets extra points from me; if anything can make you look good when the wind is gale force and below zero I am all for it!
