So those of you of a certain age will remember the glory of 'The Hills' and were (as I was) suitably obsessed with the exploits of Lauren et al and their glamorously scripted lives.
One of (IMHO) the stand-out characters was an intern, with a fantastic nickname, 'Super Emily'. She was admired and disliked in equal measures and was one my favourite people when she cropped up in a few episodes.

Super Emily, or Emily Weiss as she is more commonly known now completely lived up to the name. Weiss set up one of my favourite and most visited beauty websites; Into the Gloss. A fun, detailed and insightful look into the bathroom cabinets of fashion and beauties most coveted.
This site became the go to site for the most up to date and honest reviews on the latest beauty products. What I love most about this site was that it was accessible to every budget and every shade of skin available.
So it was only natural (after all she isn't called Super Emily for nothing) that the go to beauty website create and sell the go to cosmetic of the year, Glossier.
Glossier is all about enhancing the beauty you have already been graced with.
It is a limited range of products designed to enhance and not hide your glorious natural features. I have been obsessed with the line and have been desperate to try it, own it and enhance my own natural features. It has been an arduous and so far fruitless quest to get these products on my face... Until now.

The cornerstone of the range is Balm Dotcom a lightweight universal salve that is primer, moisturiser and general skin perfecter all rolled into one glorious tube and this is now available in the UK via Net a Porter!! Rejoice! I have already bought three and have another three waiting in my basket to buy again.
